Wisconsin's First Distillery Earns Silver in International Competition

Great Lakes Distillery, LLC of Milwaukee Wisconsin is proud to announce that Rehorst Premium Milwaukee Vodka has been awarded a Silver Medal in the prestigious 2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition!

The 7th annual competition is a blind tasting founded by renowned wine and spirits expert Anthony Dias Blue, and judged by a panel of experienced spirits professionals of international stature. This year’s competition attracted over 700 entries from 52 countries.

“I think it says a lot about our product when a small craft distillery from Wisconsin that has been producing vodka for 6 months can win an award at an international level competition” said distillery founder Guy Rehorst. The distillery’s future plans include the release of several small batch products with a Wisconsin flair.

Rehorst Premium Milwaukee Vodka is a small batch hand made product produced by Wisconsin’s first and only licensed distillery since prohibition.
