But wait, there’s more! We’re unveilin’ our Seasonal Pumpkin Spirit, made from the famous Pumpkin Lager by Lakefront Brewery. And don’t ya worry, we’ve got some special fall-inspired cocktails featuring GLD’s locally-made spirits. And what’s a block party without some good ol’ grub? We’ve got hoochMKE, Milwaukee Sail Loft, The Truck Stop MKE, and El Sazón Dominicano for all your munching needs. Plus, 1550 Maple Goods will be in attendance with their delightful, local maple syrup!

STILLHOUSE JUNKIES
A crowd-thrilling trio from the hills of Colorado, Stillhouse Junkies share the kind of strangely charmed chemistry that elevates both artist and audience alike. Since forming in 2017, the Durango-bred band have offered up a hypnotic and high-energy form of roots music anchored in the free-flowing interplay among the three lifelong musicians (Fred Kosak on guitar and mandolin, Cody Tinnin on upright bass, Alissa Wolf on fiddle). While they’ve gained major traction in the bluegrass world in recent years—including winning the IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award in 2021—Stillhouse Junkies ultimately inhabit a genre-blurring and subtly inventive sound informed by everything from blues to classical to Texas swing. When matched with their nuanced songcraft and soul-stirring harmonies, the result is a one-of-a-kind musical experience that immediately transports the listener into a more enchanted state of mind.
With their fourth album due out in 2024, Stillhouse Junkies have now achieved such triumphs as touring in the UK and Europe and taking the stage at leading festivals like MerleFest and Grey Fox. Whether they’re performing at house concerts or playing to crowds of thousands, the band balances the dizzying intricacy of their musicality with plenty of freewheeling improvisation. “We make sure to leave a lot of wide-open spaces for group improv at our shows,” says Tinnin. “We’re not that interested in playing it safe; the goal is always to connect and play off each other as best we can.”
SEASONAL PUMPKIN SPIRIT
The Perfect Mix of Malt & Spice that Drinks Like a Whiskey
We’re never quite content with the ordinary and our Pumpkin Spirit is extraordinary. This delicious fall spirit is everything you would expect from a whiskey with the added depth of caramel, hints of pumpkin and some spice.
While sharing some drinks with our friends at Milwaukee’s Lakefront Brewery (the best ideas come to us this way) someone made the comment that Lakefront’s Pumpkin Lager could make an interesting distilled spirit. As it turned out, interesting didn’t even begin to describe the resulting spirit! After some minor adjusting of distillation technique, aging, and cask blending our Pumpkin Spirit was ready to be released.
- Lakefront Brewery’s renowned Pumpkin Lager distilled and barrel aged by Great Lakes Distillery.
- Features a blend of spirits aged in refill wine barrels, refill whiskey barrels, refill beer barrels, and new oak. No component is younger than 5 years old.
- Each batch is wax dipped by hand, individually numbered, bottled at 90 proof, and limited to a single release each year.
- The unique distillation process leads to a spirit that drinks like whiskey and can be used as such. Pumpkin Seasonal Spirit excels in Old Fashioneds, Mules, mixed with apple cider (hot or cold), and subbed into a classic Manhattan.
- Burnished golden yellow color. Bright, sweet aromas of clove, nutmeg, candied ginger, fruit cake, and pumpkin custard with a dryish medium-to-full body and a spicy dusty clove gum and pumpkin cheesecake finish.
